The knight in the night who lost the fight.

Behold ye the man whose armor sparkles in the light of this moon,
For his lack of experience means he will be taken by the night soon!

He means well as he marches to war on his mighty steed,
Towards the man in dented armor that rides an inferior breed!

You see the man rides a mule into places of war,
Then shortly after sleeps his nights within arms of whores!

While this shiny night wishes to see his one true love when this done,
The man on the mule only wants his pay so he can drink away another night of fun!

Shiny armor gleaming even in the night,
Makes him an easy target amongst the fight!

The man in the dented armor disappears into the shadows to gain an upper hand,
As the shiny night rides towards where he thinks he will be able to make his stand!

But an arrow flies through the trees strikes true between his horse's eyes,
The shiny knight is flung into a tree; a shattered back is his heroic prize!

The knight looks up coughing blood saying "Have you no honour mule knight?"
The dented knight sticks a blade in his neck "Why have honour when killing you is such a delight?"

Sometimes when I sleep at night I end up being awoken by knocking. Whether it is on my bed or at my door, the knocking will come. Sometimes it is fast, and sometimes it is dreadfully slow, but the knocking will come. I can pray to a god I don't believe in to try to bring sanity to my rest, but it is all in vain because this knocking knocks from inside my chest. Beating on my bones trying to get rid of the thoughts of a good nights slumber. Sometimes when I do dream I feel like I will always hear this knocking, even in my death.
